Is it just me, or do you change your viewpoint depending on how clean your car is? For example, when I haven't washed my car in weeks because of rain or just plain laziness being busy, I look at a clean car on the road as someone with too much time on their hands.
But... when I've just washed my car, the unwashed masses in dirty filth-bombs are viewed as ultimate losers. Of course, this view will continue for about week until my car becomes diritier than many other snobs who really need to get a life.
And so it goes.
